Ange and Angela recently returned from the Virtuoso Symposium aboard Silversea's new Silver Dawn in Portugal. The Virtuoso meeting is attended by agency owners and executives from travel suppliers worldwide. During the four-day event, the groups discuss ways we can better support each other and fulfill the needs of today's travelers. When not in the meeting room, all participate in activities that help us create valuable personal relationships. Read more

Highlights:
S.A.L.T. Dining is fabulous.  Crafted in each port to reflect the cuisine in the area being visited.  S.A.L.T. Bar next door with it's wonderful ambiance is intimate and offers amazing handcrafted drinks reflecting the area visited.

Cura, the One Star Michelin restaurant at the Four Seasons Lisbon, is not to be missed!  98% of Chef Pedro Vastos’ ingredients are sourced from within Portugal.
If wine is not your thing, he will pair the courses with fresh juice!

Loved the Café Majestic in Porto and Porto Lovers shop!

Tips:
Have your butler unpack, you will be so glad you did!  Definitely ask your butler to prepare the bath experience for you early in your cruise because you will probably want to do it again!!

Do yourself a favor and order from Spaccanapoli!  Best pizza ever!! Have lunch there or order to the room and watch a movie early in your cruise because you will probably want to do that again too! Movie time will also go well with truffle popcorn!  Ask your butler.

Don’t forget you can order champagne and caviar to your room anytime too!  They do it really well!

Changes in the travel world are happening fast.
Here are a few of the headlines that caught our attention this week
Travel companies new sustainable commitments. Many companies have refined their sustainability plans during the past two years. Here is a list of some that are leading the sustainability movement. Read more

Masks on airplanes are no longer mandatory, at least for now... Last week, the CDC extended the nationawide mask mandate when on public transportation through May 3rd. A District judge overruled the decision and after the order was overruled, the TSA said it would no longer enforce the mandate. Now the Department of Justice is appealing the federal court ruling. Canada is now a little easier to visit. Testing and mask requirements for those that have been vaccinated are much less restrictive. Read More
