Our team has been busy exploring the world as destinations re-open. Tracy recently returned from a Caribbean cruise on Seabourn.
Biggest Challenges: Jumping through all the hoops for Barbados. Even after meeting all country requests, the government mandated that most of the passengers quarantine in their Barbados hotels for the two days we were on the island before boarding the ship.
What Made the Trip Special: Sailing with only 84 guests on 450 passenger vessel made us feel like we had the ship to ourselves. We dined two nights in specialty restaurants and were the only two in the restaurant. No masks were required once on board. Staff was amazing - so friendly, professional, and excited to have us onboard. Seabourn always has amazing lecturers.
Key Lessons Learned: Until countries are fully open, it's difficult to
recommend going in early for a pre-cruise extension. Seabourn is close to launching their luxury expedition ship - I can't wait to see what that will entail.
